>>Arrival and Departure Information

Please plan on arriving at The Firs between 10am-1pm on Friday, March 26, 2010. There is no lunch Friday so plan accordingly, Friday dinner is the first meal of the conference weekend.
 
Think about carpooling, taking the train or biking this year!  For ideas or help with travel planning, please contact Mary Sorg at:

The last workshop ends at 11:30am and is followed by lunch and a closing celebration.  Checkout is by 2pm.

 


 

Experiential education has been growing and changing for decades. There are a lot of us working in this field who feel excited about its potential and resilience. We are challenged by the changing social and economic climate, but discovering new ways to do things is our passion! Be open to challenging yourself!  You've looked at the box, you’ve thought outside of the box, now it's time to abandon the box and embark on a new journey…

Workshops: 30+ types of workshops that are offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:  schools and colleges, adventure based programming, experience-based training and development, facilitation /processing, program administration, research and evaluation, social justice & ethics, and therapeutic adventure and adventure therapy.
