AEE NW Region Conference Sponsor Information
Dear Potential Sponsor,
Each spring, the Northwest Region hosts a conference that provides our membership with an opportunity to bond, interact and share ideas with fellow professionals. The 22nd annual Association for Experiential Education (AEE) Northwest Region Conference 2010 is being held at the Firs Camp, Bellingham, WA on March 26-28, 2010. Conference attendees are practitioners and educators who utilize experiential education practices through the use of challenge courses, wilderness tripping, therapy, psychology, primary through secondary education, college and university academic and recreation programs, professional training and development, counseling, and social work. The conference is expected to draw more than 150 attendees from throughout the northwestern United States and the western Canadian provinces– many of whom are influential in the companies, camps, conference centers and educational institutions they represent. The theme “New Journeys” takes a look at the fact that experiential education has been growing and changing for decades. There are a lot of us working in this field who feel excited about its potential and resilience. We are challenged by the changing social and economic climate, but discovering new ways to do things is our passion! Be open to challenging yourself! You've looked at the box, you’ve thought outside of the box, now it's time to abandon the box and embark on a new journey. Your sponsorship will assist us in making this conference a success.
During this conference, individuals, foundations, corporations and institutions can support the AEE Northwest Region and its important work through a variety of means; conference brochure advertisements, exhibit booth rentals, sponsorships or auction donations. The money that is raised through these efforts supports initiatives that help AEE and its members by financing the operations of the Northwest region. Your support of the conference can also produce positive returns for you as many of the conference attendees are influential in the companies, camps, conference centers and educational institutions that are active within the experiential education field.
Conference Sponsorships
- $1,000.00 – Sponsorship of entire conference (Only one such sponsorship will be accepted)
- $500.00 – Sponsorship of Key-note Address (Only one such sponsorship will be accepted)
- $250.00 – Sponsorship of Saturday Evening Entertainment (Only one such sponsorship will be accepted)
- $50.00 – Sponsorship of a Workshop Session

Live & Silent Auction Donations
The annual live and silent auctions are significant sources of revenue for the region and provide an easy way for you to directly support AEE while also receiving highly visible recognition for your support. Appropriate donation items include adventure related equipment and apparel, books, vacation packages, kayaks, canoes, teambuilding resources, keepsakes and gifts, discounted trainings, gift certificates, and anything else you might find appropriate. Donations which require a minimum bid are welcome. Donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be issued upon receipt of donated items.
